The Chesterfield Township Police are actively seeking information about an unidentified woman who was struck by a vehicle early last Friday. As reported by Audacy, the incident occurred on 26 Mile Road near Country Line Road in Macomb County, around 4 a.m., and the woman is believed to have been hit by the passenger side mirror of a car.
The driver, who reported the accident to the police, claimed he stopped immediately to check on the condition of the pedestrian. However, in an eerie turn of events, neither he nor the police authorities could locate the woman following the incident. The area was searched, but the efforts were fruitless. The woman has been described by the driver as "white, heavyset with dark hair and wearing a white T-shirt," according to a statement obtained by Audacy.
FOX 2 Detroit also reported on this unsettling disappearance, reiterating the call for public assistance to help locate the possibly injured woman. The Chesterfield Police Department has encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
