
Chicago Police have taken 30-year-old Victor Bradford into custody in connection with the murder of a man earlier this year. The suspect, hailing from the 9100 block of S. Aberdeen in Chicago, Illinois, faces a litany of charges. According to the Chicago Police Department, Bradford is charged with one felony count of first-degree murder, one felony count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon/vehicle/fir loaded with no FOID, and one felony count of UUW - weapon - AGG/VEH or concealed. Furthermore, he has received one citation for no valid registration.
The arrest was made on August 26, by members of the Area One Homicide Investigation Support Team in the 9400 block of S. May. Bradford was identified as the person who is alleged to have fatally shot a 30-year-old male victim. The incident took place on May 11, around 4:25 a.m. in the 7400 block of S. State St. in the city's 3rd District, as detailed by the Chicago Police Department. Following the identification, Bradford was placed into custody and charged accordingly.
As stated by Chicago Police, the investigation has not yielded any additional information that can be shared at this time. A detention hearing has been scheduled for the next day, August 29, at the court location on 2600 S. California Avenue.
