The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, received a strike to the head and was subsequently transported to an area hospital but was pronounced dead. Her male companion, meanwhile suffering from injuries to his chest and head, was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, later confirmed that the man also succumbed to his injuries, as reported by CBS News.
