On the streets of Chicago, another story of crime unfolds as 24-year-old Deneszria Hill finds herself entangled with the law. Hill, hailing from the 5200 block of W. Washington Blvd., has been charged with a total of four felony counts – three for theft and one for running a continuing financial crimes enterprise.
According to the Chicago Police Department's press release, authorities apprehended Hill in connection with a series of fraudulent return transactions at a retail business located in the 1100 block of W. Jackson Blvd., with reported losses over $36,000.
The arrest was carried out by the Organized Retail Crime Task Force alongside the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force on August 13, abruptly ending a crime spree that lasted from July 5 to August 5 of this year, as per the CPD.
Hill is allegedly the perpetrator behind the illicit scheme that has now led to quickly organizing a detention hearing, set to take place today at 2600 S. California.
