In DeKalb County, the Voter Registration and Elections office is taking a proactive step to ensure the integrity of the upcoming General Election by conducting logic and accuracy testing. Set for the morning of September 16, starting at 9 a.m. According to an announcement by DeKalb County, the testing, which is open to the public and surely of interest to the engaged voter, will verify that the machines count votes correctly and securely.
The logic and accuracy testing will occur in two phases, handling in-person advanced and Election Day voting, absentee by mail, and provisional ballots. The testing and equipment storage will be conducted at the DeKalb VRE office located at 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300, Decatur, GA 30032-1239.
