The 5K Fur Run, positioned as a charity event supporting DeKalb County Animal Services, will commence at 7:30 a.m. with an opening ceremony and the warm-up session leading into the race; participants can bring their pets along for the run or walk and all raised funds will directly benefit the local animal shelter, which aims at caring for and relocating homeless pets.
