Commuters in Downtown will experience disruption to their usual routes on Monday, August 26, due to critical maintenance works happening at the Garden Theatre. According to a statement on the City of Winter Garden's official website, road closures will be in place to facilitate the replacement of rooftop air conditioning units.
Those driving eastbound on Plant Street should anticipate it being shut down between Lakeview Avenue and South Boyd Street from 6:30 am until 9 am. Similarly, Tremaine Street will see closures in both directions, starting from 9 am through to noon. Moreover, parking will not be permitted from the early hours of 2 am, continuing until the day's work reaches completion.
The restrictions also extend to the Tremaine Street area which will begin at Lakeview Avenue and Tremaine Street, ending at the crosswalk adjacent to the Parking Garage.
Commercial delivery drivers should note that the standard delivery spots will be out of service during this time. All deliveries must be made on Lakeview Avenue, taking advantage of the 30-minute loading area east of the Downtown Interactive Fountain.
