Quick-thinking and swift action by the Ennis Police Department led to the arrest of four individuals accused of stealing from a Tractor Supply store. On July 30, following a tip from a store employee, law enforcement was notified that three generators had been forcibly taken, and the suspects were seen fleeing in a black minivan, as per the Ennis Police Department.
The effectiveness of the local law enforcement was on full display as they were able to promptly track down the vehicle based on the partial plate number provided by the Tractor Supply employee. During a traffic stop conducted by an Ennis Police Officer, two suspects attempted to escape on foot but were swiftly contained by the quick coordination of the Ennis Police Department, which also included drone support and K-9 units from Ellis County and Palmer Police Department.
