The culmination of a collaborative effort led by the Everman Police Department has resulted in a significant recovery of stolen vehicles in southern Tarrant County. Acting on a tip, the Everman Police Department engaged the expertise of the Tarrant Regional Auto Crimes Task Force, leading to an extensive investigation and the eventual discovery of several dismantled cars at a local property.
When the task force members inspected the scene, they found 11 dismantled vehicles, most of which were confirmed as stolen. According to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office on social media, a total of nine stolen vehicles were recovered, and a tenth was seized during the operation. The vehicles in question were reported stolen from areas including Everman, Forest Hill, Fort Worth, Hurst, and Burleson.
Valuable assistance was provided by the Tarrant County Crimes Scene Unit and Fort Worth PD patrol officers at the scene. The Tarrant Regional Auto Crimes Task Force is hailed for its role as a "force-multiplier" for regional agencies, offering specialized knowledge and support on matters related to auto theft and related crimes.
