Brenna Swindell, the 29-year-old daughter of Greg Swindell, a former University of Texas baseball player and Houston Astros pitcher, has been found safe following her disappearance on August 22. Greg Swindell confirmed the news on social media on Tuesday morning and expressed gratitude for the widespread support. “She has been found. Thanks to EVERYONE who got involved. Sarah Swindell and I and our family and extended family thanks you," he said on Facebook as CBS Austin Reported.

According to law enforcement, while driving through Klamath Falls, Oregon, a vehicle's license plate belonging to Swindell and her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, was flagged as stolen. Performing a high-risk stop in the early hours, said Sgt. Maury Smith of the Klamath Falls Police Department, Brenna, and Guidry were found at approximately 12:37 a.m. PST.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) noted that Brenna Swindell "is alive and well" and was in the company of her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, at the time she was located. Guidry has been arrested on a warrant and is now in custody. Before her being found, both Swindell and Guidry were last seen at Poodie's Hilltop Roadhouse in Spicewood, around 25 miles west of Austin, KVUE reported. Notably, after their disappearance, their phones had been turned off, prompting heightened concern and initiating an investigation by the TCSO.

The arrest of Guidry is connected to an assault charge from an incident on July 7, where he is accused of strangling his girlfriend and causing an injury severe enough to draw blood, according to documents obtained by KVUE. Swindell appeared uninjured following the confrontation with police that led to their discovery. Brenna's last known location, along with Guidry, was her sighting at a Spicewood bar, as reported by the Austin Police Department Monday morning. The story is ongoing and further updates are expected to be released.
