The growing retail landscape in Arizona’s third largest city is set to welcome a high-flying addition. Get Air, the Utah-based indoor trampoline park chain, is on track to open a new location in Mesa as part of the burgeoning Eastgate Plaza—a mixed-use development underway at the nexus of Elliot and Ellsworth roads.
As reported by ABC15, the company outlined plans for a 25,000-square-foot facility offering a variety of activities such as basketball and dodgeball courts, in addition to its signature trampolines. The proposal notes that Get Air usually invests over $1 million in improvements for such parks. The forthcoming Mesa outpost would mark the brand’s fourth in the state, augmenting its presence already established in Yuma, Tucson, and Prescott.
Get Air, a company that runs each of its 80 locations nation-wide as owner-operated outlets rather than franchises, had been in search of a Mesa location for four years and has recently inked a deal on a 3.5-acre parcel within the larger 17-acre Eastgate Plaza project, as per Phoenix Business Journal.
Located to the north of Eastmark, Mesa’s ambitious master-planned community, and in proximity to major tech players like Meta Platforms Inc. and Apple, Eastgate Plaza is poised to be a new epicenter for commerce and leisure in the region. It’s also close to Mesa Elliot Technology Park, a hub growing with activity from the likes of Niagara Bottling LLC, and not far from another mixed-use venue, Cannon Beach.
