As reported by the Town of Gilbert, they've opened the online application portal and are seeking individuals who echo their commitment to service with "integrity, trust and respect." If that sounds like you, you've got until September 8, to submit your application.
The job isn't one to be entered lightly. Minimum requirements are clear cut: candidates must be 18 or older, have at least a high school diploma or GED, and be able to secure an Arizona driver’s license by the time of hire. For those aspiring to become an EMT, a current CPR Professional Provider certification is a must, alongside a valid state or national EMT certification. Paramedic hopefuls need to also be currently certified in Arizona or have National Registry Paramedic credentials, not to forget current ACLS and CPR certifications.
The application process is as straightforward as it gets, albeit with a two-step approach. According to the department, applicants must quickly submit their details online via the Town of Gilbert website by 11:59 PM, September 8. Then they have to promptly complete both a testing and a video interview by the same deadline.
