
Investigations are intensifying in the mystery surrounding a woman's death in Gilroy, as authorities conducted a high-risk search yesterday morning, nearly a week after her body was discovered. According to a report by the Gilroy Police Department, the incident occurred at a residence on the 7600 block of Rea Street last Tuesday. The deceased was an adult female, and the circumstances of her death prompted a careful examination by officials.
The Gilroy/ Morgan Hill SWAT Team executed a high-risk search warrant at the same home yesterday as part of the ongoing investigation. During the search, an adult male was apprehended on an unrelated warrant. The release from the Gilroy Police states that this is still an active suspicious death case. The authorities are working in tandem with the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner to ascertain the cause of death.
