
The Gilroy Police Department is issuing a call to the public for assistance in identifying an individual involved in a theft from Gilroy Prep School. The incident, which transpired over the weekend, resulted in the loss of approximately $4,800 in items, notably a floor buffer and a popcorn machine, essential to the school's daily functions.
Details surrounding the case have been sparse, but the police department is determined to quickly return the stolen items to the students and staff of Gilroy Prep School. The suspect's image, captured on surveillance equipment, has been circulated widely. In an effort to galvanize community support, the department has taken to social media, sharing images of the stolen items and the alleged perpetrator on Instagram.
Members of the Gilroy community are being asked to come forward with any information they might have that could lead to the identification of the suspect.
