The Covington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for Amy Elizabeth Reuthe, a 56-year-old woman who has been missing since last Friday. As FOX19 reported, Reuthe was last seen after being dropped off near the Yard House in downtown Cincinnati at approximately 10 a.m.
Sourced from the Covington Police, Local 12 mentioned that Reuthe was wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and gray shoes at the time of her disappearance. Having walked away from the hospital against medical advice, her family reports her missing and is concerned for her safety due to a serious medical condition. Wearing her gray sweatpants and shoes, at that time, she did not show any signs of distress, according to a Local12 report.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Reuthe's whereabouts to come forward. The Covington Police Department's Lt. Justin Bradbury stressed the situation's urgency, acknowledging the potential risks associated with her medical condition. "Police say that Amy Elizabeth Reuthe’s family reported her missing after she walked away from the hospital against medical advice," FOX19 stated.
The search for Reuthe is ongoing and involves multiple partners. To locate her, having suffered from a serious medical condition, the Covington Police Department has asked for the public's help. Details regarding the medical condition have not been disclosed, echoing the concerns previously mentioned regarding her safety. "Her family reports that she walked away from a hospital again," WLWT contributed to this account.
