
The City of Goodyear's Fire Chief, Paul Luizzi, has been honored with the prestigious designation of Chief Fire Officer by the Commission on Professional Credentialing®, a recognition that credits his commitment to professional excellence across several key aspects of his job.
According to the city's official announcement, Chief Luizzi underwent a rigorous peer review process that appraised his record in terms of experience, education, professional development, professional contributions, association membership, community involvement, and technical competence. He also joins an elite group of only 1,376 Chief Fire Officers around the world and one of only 63 in Arizona.
