The blaze prompted a response from firefighters who were able to access confine, and fully extinguish the fire within a mere 24 minutes; the efficiency of the response teams is commendable as they tackle such emergencies amidst the sprawling urban landscape of the Valley Bureau. In a follow-up report, it was confirmed that 37 LAFD firefighters worked diligently to manage the situation, ensuring that it did not spread to adjacent units in the 5,800-square-foot building. Despite their efforts, however, an unfortunate casualty occurred in the form of a pet canine that succumbed to the fire.

The LAFD has not yet released additional information regarding the aftermath of the fire or any potential impact on the building's residents.
