In a show of community support, Lake Havasu City's Aquatic Center has received a noteworthy contribution aimed at boosting water safety among children. As reported by Lake Havasu City, a $4,200 donation has been made by Craig Plumbing, a local company committed to ensuring that swimming lessons are accessible to youngsters in the area. The funds are slated to cover the swim lesson costs for 100 children, coming at an opportune time during Drowning Impact Awareness Month.
The generous donation was personally presented by Caitlin Craig from Craig Plumbing. A mother herself, with a toddler today and expecting another child shortly, Caitlin epitomizes the concern many parents harbor about water safety for their children. She stressed the importance of vigilance, saying, "I want to remind everyone to watch those kiddos around water." Caitlin further emphasized the goal behind their donation, affirming that "All of us at Craig Plumbing want to make sure all kids have the opportunity to learn how to swim at no cost to the family," as stated by Lake Havasu City.
