
The Los Angeles Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the community to find the driver involved in a hit-and-run incident that resulted in severe injuries for a 76-year-old woman, according to their news release. The collision took place on the evening of August 14, 2024, when a dark SUV hit the pedestrian as she crossed Saticoy Avenue after the driver reportedly failed to offer aid and chose to flee the scene.
Investigators have determined that the vehicle in question is possibly a 1990 Toyota 4Runner, Second Generation, with a silver or tan color. Rendering aid to the injured person was not provided by the suspect who instead decided to continue driving westbound after the incident. Immediate medical assistance was provided by the Los Angeles Fire Department, which transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
