In an effort to bolster civic engagement, the city is filling roughly 45 open positions across a variety of volunteer boards for the year 2025. These include the Development Authority, which meets monthly to discuss economic development services; the Financial Review Citizen Committee, which aims to help residents and business owners understand the city budget; and the Heritage Trail Medallion Committee and Hooper-Renwick Legacy Preservation Committee, which focus on recognizing and preserving historical landmarks. Other positions are available on the Lawrenceville Arts Commission, Housing Authority, Planning Commission, ReCAST Advisory Board, and Stormwater Authority, each with its meeting schedules and functions.
The ReCAST Advisory Board, which meets as announced on Wednesdays, guides the city towards shared objectives for resilient community efforts.
