The streets of Central Phoenix became the scene of a tragedy when a man succumbed to a fatal stab wound on Thursday, in an incident now under investigation by the Phoenix Police Department; as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix, officers responded to a call near 3rd Avenue and Buckeye Road around 10:30 a.m. and discovered 35-year-old Cisco Dennis, who had sustained at least one stab wound.
Dennis was quickly transported to a local hospital where his life ebbed away, the valiant efforts of medical professionals notwithstanding, and despite their attempts to staunch the tide of his wounds he was pronounced deceased; Phoenix Police have fervently called for witnesses, urging anyone with information to reach out to Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS, with Spanish speakers asked to contact Testigo Silencioso at 480-TESTIGO.
Continuing the narrative shared by 12News, homicide detectives have now overtaken the case, piecing together the final moments of Dennis's life, and although the police have yet to publicly identify a suspect or release further detail about the possible circumstances leading up to the brutal attack, their efforts remain undiminished as the community reels in the aftermath of the violence.
