
A 52-year-old man fell victim to a stabbing incident while sitting in his vehicle near the Presidio Little League area in Mission Valley West, as reported by the San Diego Police Department Watch Commander's Log. The attack, which occurred at 2505 Hotel Circle Pl. on Saturday morning, saw the assailant break the vehicle's window and inflict a potentially fatal wound to the upper left side of the man's chest.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, managed to escape and call 911 for assistance. He was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery. Despite the initial assessment of life-threatening injuries, the victim is now expected to survive. The suspect, who remains at large, was described as a Hispanic male wearing a short "buzz" hairstyle and a blue shirt. No additional information on the suspect's appearance has been provided.
