The City of Mankato is on the hunt for an aspiring Laboratory Intern to join their environmental team and aid in the crucial work of chemical testing and environmental control, according to an announcement on their official Facebook page.
This internship offers a hands-on experience for those in pursuit of an education in the sciences, specifically those with a background in high school level education and currently enrolled in college chemistry or biology courses. Responsibilities for the intern will include performing lab analyses, collecting samples, transporting those said samples and also the intern will have the opportunity to play a supportive role in water and wastewater treatment programs as well.
