For young people intrigued by the work of law enforcement, the Maple Grove Police Department is extending an invitation to join its Explorer program, with an Open House scheduled for September 9, at 7 p.m. The event will take place at the North Metro Regional Public Safety Training Facility, located at 11370 - 89th Avenue, in Maple Grove. As reported by the Maple Grove Police Department, the meeting is a "No registration needed."
Recognizing the importance of early exposure and mentorship, the Maple Grove Police Department encourages interested teens to take advantage of the program. "If you're between the ages of 14-20 and interested in law enforcement this program is for you! Don't miss a great opportunity!" the department expressed in their Facebook announcement.
