The assault, which left three people injured, occurred in the early hours of July 13, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Responding to a call at about 3:00 a.m., officers arrived at the 1100 block of U Street, Northwest, only to discover that a sizable group had initiated an attack on the victims.
