On September 7, Milton will come alive as the annual Touch-a-Truck event returns, now partnering with Stonecreek Church. This year's event promises to be even better, featuring a variety of vehicles, including an excavator and the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, as per the City of Milton's official website.
Last year's debut saw a turnout of approximately 4,000 people, but this year, organizers anticipate an even larger crowd, bolstered by the inclusion of new attractions like a party bus, a Tesla Cybertruck, and a monster truck alongside the beloved standard fleet. The event will span from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be hosted at the easy-to-spot location of 13540 Highway 9, though parking will be at a premium there. Alternatives include spaces near Milton's Public Safety Complex or at King’s Ridge Christian School, where shuttles will ferry guests to the heart of the activities. Kids can enjoy various activities, including video games, a golf simulator, giant inflatables, face painting, and music from a DJ. There will also be plenty of food options, like hot dogs, tacos, eggrolls, and chicken wings, to keep everyone satisfied and energized.
The event is made possible by generous sponsors like the Butler Swayne Team, King’s Ridge Christian School, the Reid Casey Real Estate Team, and Tri Scapes. Other supporters include Junkluggers, Milton Dental, Milton Dental Town, Nova Chiropractic, Red Wings Shoes, and STABLE Orthodontics. Their support helps build a strong sense of community.
