
Minneapolis residents curious about the future of their neighborhoods in the wake of cannabis legalization have a chance to lend their ears and voices. The city is hosting two online information sessions to discuss proposed zoning regulations for cannabis businesses, as reported by the City of Minneapolis. These sessions aim to clarify the upcoming changes and address citizen questions.
With the legalization of adult-use recreational cannabis in Minnesota last year, municipal wheels have begun turning to accommodate this new sector. According to the city's statement, "Our goal is to create rules that support the new legal cannabis industry and keep our community safe and healthy."
Interested parties can join the conversation on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., or on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 4 to 5 p.m., as detailed by the City of Minneapolis.
