In a recent development concerning the July 6 homicide of 16-year-old Jawaun Jones, Misael Garcia, 29, has been taken into custody following his arrest on Antioch Pike. As reported by Nashville.gov, Jones was engaged in a confrontation with three individuals while riding his skateboard when the incident, which left him dead from a gunshot wound, unfolded. A skirmish resulted in Jones dropping a pistol, which was then picked up by one of the assailants and used to shoot him.
