After more than a day of intense search and public concern, a missing 2-month-old infant, allegedly abducted by her father from a Sandy Springs hotel, has been found safe. Fox 5 Atlanta reported that the baby was located and that the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Randy Bernard Clark, the girl's noncustodial father, is now in custody. Reya Clark was abducted from the Home2 Suites by Hilton on Peachtree Dunwoody Road, with the Sandy Springs Police Department releasing details in an urgent call to locate her.

Following the incident, Randy Clark, facing multiple felony warrants, surrendered himself to the authorities yesterday morning. As reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Clark was faced with charges of kidnapping and his actions led to the issuance of a Levi’s Call. The accused, persuaded by police over the phone to end the ordeal, brought the child into police headquarters himself, and after being taken into custody, both were sent to the hospital for evaluation.

The reunion of the baby with her mother occurred at the hospital, according to information from Channel 2 Action News. Investigators speculate that Clark did not leave the metro Atlanta area during the time he was with his daughter. Clark as arrested, was booked into the Fulton County Jail on kidnapping charges, and faces additional felonies in Gwinnett and Rockdale counties. These include kidnapping, aggravated assault, making terroristic threats or acts, and second-degree criminal damage to property, stemming from an earlier incident in Snellville, where he is alleged to have abducted yet another victim after a home invasion.

Further inquiries into the nature of Clark’s relationship with his previous victims and the details surrounding the Rockdale warrants have gone unanswered, as Gwinnett and Rockdale officials have not responded to requests for more information. In November, after breaking into a home through a back door threatened to shoot two women, "Clark then grabbed one of the women and abducted her," as described in his arrest warrants.
