According to WSMV, Gallagher had been missing for several weeks before her body was discovered in the neighboring state. The initial alert highlighted that she had a medical condition that could impair her ability to return home without assistance—an unfortunate reminder of her vulnerabilities.
The circumstances surrounding Gallagher's disappearance and the discovery of her body have not been fully disclosed. Authorities had shared information at the time of the Silver Alert, indicating that Gallagher may have been driving a maroon 2000 Buick LeSabre with Tennessee plate BGR-9782, noted by WKRN.
"Her loved ones are in our thoughts," the TBI stated on social media, reflecting the somber sentiment following the discovery. As the investigation continues, questions about how Gallagher ended up so far from home and the events leading up to her death loom unanswered. The TBI has yet to release additional details regarding the case as mentioned by FOX17.
