The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirmed that 69-year-old Roxanne Gallagher was found dead in Lake Cumberland, Kentucky, on Saturday afternoon. A Silver Alert had been issued on August 2 for Gallagher, who was last seen in late June on Dogwood Road, as per TBI's report.

The 69-year-old, is 5'2", 130 lbs., with blue eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen in late June on Dogwood Road wearing a blue tee and jeans.

According to WSMV, Gallagher had been missing for several weeks before her body was discovered in the neighboring state. The initial alert highlighted that she had a medical condition that could impair her ability to return home without assistance—an unfortunate reminder of her vulnerabilities.
