The incident occurred around 10 p.m., and Pillar and his passenger were ejected from the motorcycle before it stopped on the road, according to WSMV. The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) revealed that Pillar admitted to smoking marijuana earlier that day and the police obtained a search warrant for a blood sample, his passenger succumbed to injuries at TriStar Skyline Medical Center and the efforts are currently focused on notifying her next of kin.
The MNPD has expressed that charges are expected once the investigation is concluded. The driver of the Malibu showed no signs of impairment at the crime scene, as detailed by WKRN. Upon completing their investigation, the authorities are preparing to discuss the case with the District Attorney’s Office.
