A serious injury collision occurred early this morning in the Chollas Creek neighborhood, as confirmed by the San Diego Police Department's Watch Commander Officer D. O'Brien. The incident occurred on the 3800 block of 54th Street when a 23-year-old male motorcyclist collided with a tractor-trailer, as reported by the San Diego Police Department.
The motorcyclist, riding a 2015 MVAG Dragster 800RR, was traveling northbound in the number one lane when the accident happened. The collision was with the broadside of the tractor-trailer as the 57-year-old driver pulled out of a parking lot onto the street. The motorcycle's path was direct, and the motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with potentially life-threatening multiple fractures and internal injuries. The SDPD Traffic Division is handling the ongoing investigation.
