Another man involved with the Aug. 5 shooting is Sean Gayle, 41, who was wounded and has been charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. The Chicago Tribune states that Gayle was one of the shooting victims of the quarrel that led to gunfire. Moreover, following these events on the subsequent day, Aug. 6, Jerell Williams, 33, was charged with attempted first-degree murder in a separate incident that resulted in a man sustaining a gunshot wound to his thigh on the same block.
