Early morning incidents have left several individuals injured after two separate shootings occurred at Covington bars. Authorities are piecing together the events that unfolded at Bocks Billiards and outside Legends Bar & Grill, located along Decoursey Avenue.
According to Lt. Justin Bradbury with Covington police, two people were shot inside Bocks Billiards around 1:30 a.m. The victims, whose conditions are currently undisclosed, were promptly taken to UC Medical Center for treatment. As reported by FOX19, no arrests have been made. However, authorities assure the public that there is no imminent threat.
Concurrently, another shooting investigation is underway following an overnight incident near Legends Bar & Grill. Details about the number of injured parties from this location remain unclear, but the area was notably cordoned off with crime scene tape while police canvassed both inside and outside the venue.
Kenton County dispatch confirmed the second shooting also occurred around the same early morning hour. Covington police have not provided information on any suspects or arrests about this second event, and they are leading the ongoing investigation. According to footage and reports from WLWT, multiple officers were observed processing the scene outside Legends Bar & Grill.
