In the face of scorching temperatures, MUST Ministries, in cooperation with Cobb County, will be providing relief through their Cooling Center at Hope House. From August 14 to August 21, with doors open from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the shelter expects to provide a respite from the heat.

The shelter, located at 1297 Bells Ferry Road, Marietta, GA 30066, is set to offer both lunch and dinner to individuals who seek shelter from the relentless summer blaze, ensuring that no person departs on an empty stomach. According to the Cobb County news release, the Cooling Center initiative is a response to anticipated elevated temperatures that threaten the well-being of the community's most vulnerable.

In an effort to facilitate access to the shelter, bus vouchers are being provided. With the sun bearing down unforgivingly, the vouchers, individuals can collect them at two locations: the HOPE Family Resource Center at 6108 Mableton Pkwy, Suite 116, Mableton, GA 30126, and the Family Life Restoration Center at 6105 Mableton Pkwy, Mableton, GA 30126.
