A man has been confirmed dead after an overnight shooting in the Edgehill neighborhood of Nashville. According to FOX17, the Metro Nashville Police Department responded to reports of a shooting near DeFord Bailey Ave and 11th Ave. First responders discovered the victim with a gunshot wound, and he was taken to the hospital where he was subsequently declared dead.
An additional report from WKRN mentioned that the shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of DeFord Bailey Avenue, where the man was found in a parking lot with multiple gunshot injuries. In a twist of events, the suspect arrived at the same hospital with minor injuries a short time after the victim.
