For those looking to enjoy a bit of outdoor aviation, mainly VFR conditions will prevail. However, some MVFR stratus may be present through 13Z. Winds are forecast to pick up, reaching 8-12 knots with occasional gusts up to 18 knots. Although scattered thunderstorms are predicted to cross the peninsula later in the day, these could potentially offer some much-needed relief from the relentless heat.

Boaters should be aware that the western Atlantic ridge is gradually extending northward, accounting for the southwest flow of around 8-12 knots each afternoon.
