A woman was tragically killed in an early morning shooting incident in Portland's Hazelwood neighborhood, as reported by the Portland Police Department. The shooting took place at the intersection of Northeast 104th Avenue and Northeast Wasco Street.
Officers from the East Precinct received the call shortly before 3 a.m. and, upon arrival, found the woman with fatal injuries. Despite efforts to quickly secure the scene, no arrests have been made, and investigators are actively seeking leads. The victim's identity has not been disclosed, pending notification of next of kin and confirmation of the cause of death by the Medical Examiner.
