The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) has reported a surge in allegations of sexual assault against a suspect identified as Damani Anderson, with several females stepping forward with claims of being raped after meeting Anderson on various social media platforms.
In a recent press release, the PPB disclosed that since August 9, there has been an increase in the number of victims contacting them with similar accounts, prompting an intense investigation by its Sex Crimes Unit.
Fears have arisen over the possibility of more victims as the inquiry deepens and detectives urge those with any inappropriate encounters with Anderson to come forward, Detective Kyffin Marcum of the PPB Sex Crimes Unit is the pointed contact, victims are asked to email [email protected] and to reference case number 24-200429 when coming forward with information, as per the Portland Police Bureau.
