Last night, the neighborhood of Northeast D.C. was disturbed by an armed robbery, but rapid police action has led to an arrest. According to a statement by the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3200 block of 10th Street following reports of an armed robbery at around 10:17 p.m. The victim described being accosted by two individuals; one threatened with a gun while the other demanded their possessions.

The police managed to arrest one of the suspects soon after the incident, and the detectives' further investigation led to charges against a 16-year-old female from the area, the charges pressed included Robbery and Unauthorized Use Of a Vehicle; however, the case is not yet closed, MPD continues their search for the second suspect and encourages anyone with information to step forward. 

A reward up to $10,000 stands as an incentive proffered by the MPD for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators involved in this, or any other violent crime in the district.
