
The Redwood City Police Department is actively seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect involved in two instances of elder abuse this morning. According to the Redwood City Police Department, a Hispanic male adult in his 40s or 50s with a goatee and short hair physically assaulted two elderly individuals between approximately 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM. The first assault occurred in the parking lot of Grocery Outlet at 1833 Broadway, and the subsequent attack happened at the front entrance of 400 County Center. The suspect, 5'7" to 5'8" in height and medium build was last seen wearing a light sweatshirt and carrying a dark-colored backpack. He is believed to be on foot in the area.
The police have released a photo of the suspect. They urge anyone who spots him to avoid engagement and instead contact the Redwood City Police Department immediately.
