San Diego's Mid-City streets saw a significant police operation that resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the capture of illegal firearms. San Diego Police officers, while on routine patrol near Rock Street and 60th Street, noticed a person with a handgun visibly tucked into his pants. The suspect, upon seeing the officers, fled into a nearby residence, as per the San Diego Police Department.

The situation intensified as additional police resources were called in, and a secure perimeter was quickly established around the area. Despite the suspect's attempt to evade capture, the officers successfully apprehended him and recovered the weapon.

A thorough search of the residence led to the discovery of a loaded "ghost gun" and another loaded gun that had been previously reported stolen. Thanks to the officers' coordinated efforts, the situation was handled without further escalation.
