San José Police Department Releases Sketch of Person of Interest in 2020 Orlando Drive Homicide CaseSource: San José Police Department

In an ongoing effort to solve a 2020 homicide case, the San José Police Department has released a sketch of a person of interest related to a fatal shooting on Orlando Drive. Investigators believe this individual may have connections to the incident that left one man dead after multiple gunshot wounds were inflicted while he was seated in his vehicle. The late 1990’s model gold Lexus associated with the crime scene could be a pivotal clue in apprehending the culprit, according to the San José Police Department.

The SJPD Homicide Unit, a section of San José’s law enforcement, is deeply invested in revisiting the trails of cold cases and is reaching out directly to the community through an innovative approach and social media platforms that detail San Jose's Most Wanted, as shared by the San José Police Department.

Detectives working on these cold cases, including the one from November 20, 2020, when San José faced its 39th homicide of the year, are asking for eyewitnesses or anyone with knowledge about the crime to step forward.

Members of the community with information on the Orlando Drive homicide are encouraged to contact Detective Sergeant Barragan or Detective Van Brande by email at [email protected] and/or [email protected], respectively, or by phone at 408-277-5283.
