
Earlier this month, a suspect evaded one of our patrol officers during a traffic stop. The officer investigated further, identified the suspect, and obtained an arrest warrant. During this investigation, officers found probable cause to search the suspect’s residence.
On Tuesday, SJPD Special Operations Officers arrested the suspect and executed the search warrant. The suspect, who was banned from possessing firearms, was found with ammunition, methamphetamine, burglary tools, stolen property, and several firearms, including an assault weapon, as per the San Jose Police Department.

The suspect was booked into jail on several felony charges.
