Estudillo Ave to the San Leandro BART station will be closed due to construction, as announced by Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). The construction is expected to last approximately six weeks, during which normal routes will be disrupted. BART will provide signage to guide commuters through the detour. The alternative route will require turning left twice from the fare gates, following the sidewalk by the buses, then turning left on San Leandro Blvd, left on Davis St, and finally onto the Martinez St Pathway. Although it may seem complex, the detour is designed to ensure commuters reach their destination safely.
For those entering from Alvarado St, the route will differ slightly: starting on the Martinez St Pathway, taking a right on Davis, another right on San Leandro Blvd, and a final right by the bus entrance, following the sidewalk straight to the fare gates. BART appreciates the public's patience during this period of improvement and assures that the upgraded station surroundings will be worth the temporary inconvenience.
