The City of Smyrna's fourth annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration will take place on September 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Village Green Park in downtown Smyrna. The free event will feature a variety of cultural activities to honor Hispanic Heritage Month, and everyone is welcome to attend.
In celebration of National Hispanic American Heritage Month—which spans from September 15 to October 15 each year, this event comes to life highlighting the rich tapestry of histories, cultures, and myriad contributions of citizens with heritage from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America, such festivity is not just a day but a month-long recognition of a vibrant segment of America's great mosaic.
Attendees of all ages can look forward to a lively afternoon out in Smyrna's redesigned Village Green Park. The family-friendly event will offer a variety of experiences, designed to both educate and entertain, from spirited music and dance to a manifestation of the culinary arts with an array of traditional cuisines, according to the City of Smyrna.
