
The Sumner County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking assistance from the public in identifying a subject accused of aggravated robbery, as reported earlier this week by multiple sources. The incident took place on the morning of August 7, according to FOX 17 at a construction site on Gaines Hill Road in Westmoreland where, per a statement made by the sole worker at the site, a white 4-door truck bearing Kentucky license plates arrived with two individuals on board.
One of these individuals, the front passenger is said to have brandished a weapon at the worker while demanding money, as per WSMV. The sheriff's office shared that the victim described the suspect to a TBI sketch artist, a Hispanic male with a tan complexion, standing between 5'7" and 6' tall of medium build and clothed in a gray t-shirt and black jeans, he reportedly speaks fluent Spanish characterized by an American accent.
The sheriff's department has released a sketch of the suspect and is urging anyone with information about the incident or the suspect's identity to come forward.
