Shortly after the police received the report of the stabbing, they found Williams unresponsive, and he subsequently was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 26-year-old male suspect was arrested near Stadium Drive, according to details released by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. His identity remains undisclosed until his formal arraignment, FOX 17 confirmed. During the search for the suspect, an unfortunate turn of events took place, as a K9 unit named Echo suffered from heat exhaustion and was treated at Byron Center Animal Hospital, WOODTV disclosed.
