Durrell D. Moore, 35, faces charges of loitering and prowling by a sexual predator in close proximity to children, and possession of marijuana, according to the Jupiter Police Department (JPD).
Law enforcement responded after receiving reports of a man situated in a car acting indecently in view of students at the vicinity of Independence Middle School. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement lists Moore as a "sexually violent predator." The authorities located Moore at the Abacoa Skate Park after an investigation was initiated based on the disturbing reports. No students were physically harmed during the incident, JPD indicated, ensuring some relief to the community and the families involved.
