Prior to their arrival, the 1-Embarcadero Safety Team had swiftly acted, throwing a rescue water ring to the individual, setting a chain of survival into motion.
Upon the individual's retrieval from the hazardous waters, they were placed in the care of SFFD Paramedics for a thorough evaluation. The condition of the person rescued was not immediately disclosed, but they were safely onshore and no longer in peril by 7:30 AM.
